Pros
I nolonger wok there. I met several friends and business contacts that helped me pursue a real career.
Cons
So many. As a store manager I had intense struggles with staffing inventory and management. Staffing was pushed down to a single employee at my location. There was me working at 50 to 80 hours per week (salary) and an employee who I was allowed to give 35 hours per week. If the employee surpassed that, I would get a stern talking to b y the district manager. Inventory was ridiculous. I was expected to increase sales in both devices and accessories that I rarely had in stock. I would often receive less than half the amount needed to achieve the lofty goals set by management. Management was a nightmare. Between the policies changing like the wind and the lack of even slight care from anyone above store levels, it was very difficult to keep morale and sales in a growing pattern. One good example would be the corporate ATT inspections we would receive. The inspector noted on his first visit to my new store that there were several light bulbs out on the sales floor. This was relayed to me, my boss and his boss. Despite constant reminders thatevem turned into a running joke, two years and two district managers later the lights were replaced during a remodel of the store. I just recently received a letter in the mail inviting me to sue Prime communications as part of a class action suit for blatant disregard of labor laws. I do believe I will be joining in. Avoid this company both as an employee and as a customer.
