Pros

I feel like the hospital I worked at specifically was a supportive environment, as in most of my coworkers were nice and not competitive.

Cons

Literally everything else. A for-profit hospital means patient care suffers. We were almost always understaffed, frequently missing supplies, the food was disgusting. And the pay was about 20% lower than neighboring hospitals so I was surrounded new grads, per diems, junkies, and by people who couldn't get hired anywhere else. There would be shifts in critical care that were more than half new grads (less than 1 year experience) and I would pray there wouldn't be an emergency. The experienced nurses all were too comfortable and complacent and had zero sense of urgency or pride in their work.
