Pros
I love working with our medical director and my immediate supervisor. Their integrity and desire for quality and safe patient care matches my own. The schedule Is very good for a work-life balance.
Cons
Administration. Micromanaging is rampant and it's very clear that no matter how hard you work, you're expected to do more with less. It feels like perhaps bonuses are earned by working your people to death and coming in under budget. There is too much work for the time allowed to do it and even if you outperform other people by twice their numbers, you are still examined under a microscope and asked why you're not doing more. It is clear that it is about the bottom line and making money, and there is no recognition that the most successful companies are those who understand the quality of each employee as an individual rather than viewing them as a replaceable lot of nameless faceless people. It is not just the patients that are viewed as a number. Micromanaging to the point of how many times you go to the bathroom is sadly present. Also Administration will claim they never told you something if it suits them to say that period get every promise in writing because if you don't, it never happened.
