Pros

If you work hard, the staff works well together.

Cons

If there's a CNA deficit, the patient ratio will be horrible as expected.

Thank you for the review. We love to hear the staffs work well together. You are correct, a deficit can impact the patient ratio which is why my team is aggressively working to fill every possible position. We want every employee to have what they need to be successful, even if that is more staff. If you know of any individuals who would be interested in working at GHS we would love to hear from you. We LOVE referrals!!!

Pros

Magnet status, Diverse patient population allows for greater experience. Trauma 1, Comprehensive Stroke Center, teaching hospital, high investment in EPIC utilization

Cons

Level of education of many nurses there is low, no requirement for minimum BSN, staff is young, turns over, a lot. Frustrating at times. Management not the best communicators, no constructive feedback, perhaps spread to thinly to be effective.
