Pros
Everyone I've interacted with is great, so it seems that GHS attracts and hires good people.
Cons
LOTS of cons - benefits are really awful, pay is low (for non-clinical positions), executive level management seems scattered with no clear plans for the future. The system says it believes in transparency, but that apparently is not the case for jobs. Pay ranges for positions are hush-hush (like it's not okay to want to know what you can expect to earn...? That's why people have jobs!), job descriptions are unclear and often inaccurate, buildings are old and inadequate, no room for growth. People are required to stay in their positions for at least a year before applying for another (SO not the industry standard!). Even with that requirement, there is a lot of turnover, which causes workflow disruptions and requires office management to have to train new employees over and over again, which in turn reduces the time they can spend helping the organization with its challenges.
