We have had great success with our "RN SWAT Team" recruiting and filling nurse positions and we are on track to be fully staffed by the end of the year.       Pros

      Magnet status, Diverse patient population allows for greater experience. Trauma 1, Comprehensive Stroke Center, teaching hospital, high investment in EPIC utilization

      Cons

      Level of education of many nurses there is low, no requirement for minimum BSN, staff is young, turns over, a lot. Frustrating at times. Management not the best communicators, no constructive feedback, perhaps spread to thinly to be effective.
