      Pros

      Close to home. Most of my PTO is approved. Sometimes the bad people have a day off and it's nice to be there.

      Cons

      "Cost of living raise" was just pocket change. Why did you bother? The most ignorant, illiterate person was made a supervisor. He then got his friend hired as a supervisor and they harass everyone and lie. It's ok because as he likes to say.. "we ain't gonna let nobody fall."

      Pros

      Magnet status, Diverse patient population allows for greater experience. Trauma 1, Comprehensive Stroke Center, teaching hospital, high investment in EPIC utilization

      Cons

      Level of education of many nurses there is low, no requirement for minimum BSN, staff is young, turns over, a lot. Frustrating at times. Management not the best communicators, no constructive feedback, perhaps spread to thinly to be effective.
