Pros

Health insurance is good. Physicians who work here are very nice.

Cons

No paid holidays -- must use PTO for any state or federal holiday when the clinic closes. No opportunity for career advancement or growth. Every move here is lateral if you're administrative. Base salaries are low compared to other healthcare companies. Company is also very stingy with PTO. I have been working here for over 5 years and only accrue 17 hours of PTO per month (which must cover sick leave, any holidays we have, and any vacation time I may take). New employees only accrue 10 hours of PTO per month.

Pros

Magnet status, Diverse patient population allows for greater experience. Trauma 1, Comprehensive Stroke Center, teaching hospital, high investment in EPIC utilization

Cons

Level of education of many nurses there is low, no requirement for minimum BSN, staff is young, turns over, a lot. Frustrating at times. Management not the best communicators, no constructive feedback, perhaps spread to thinly to be effective.
