      Excellent learning opportunities for nurses

      Cons

      Certain units are very catty. Some places are so bad that it appears that the unit policy manual is the script from the movie heathers. Employees are not judged on the quality of their work, but on what clique they are in. Very emotionally draining

      Pros

      Magnet status, Diverse patient population allows for greater experience. Trauma 1, Comprehensive Stroke Center, teaching hospital, high investment in EPIC utilization

      Cons

      Level of education of many nurses there is low, no requirement for minimum BSN, staff is young, turns over, a lot. Frustrating at times. Management not the best communicators, no constructive feedback, perhaps spread to thinly to be effective.
