Pros

Values - they don't just play lip service to the company values, the values are a way of life. LOVE that one of the values is Enthusiasm. I feel cared about as an employee, especially during COVID-19. Communication is ongoing and consistent and we're not left to wonder what is happening. When we do return to the office, it will be in waves so that we can ensure the safety of our employees. Benefits - accrue up to 20 days of PTO your first year of employment. In previous positions, I've been lucky to have 2 weeks, so it is refreshing to have more time available. Hours - 7.5 hour workdays are the typical schedule. I work 8 am - 4:30 pm WITH a 1 hour lunch break. If I do stay "late", I can still leave by 5 pm and be home in good time. Telework - many employees have the opportunity to work from home at least 1 day per week (pre-COVID). Wellness - I have the opportunity to participate in a guided meditation once per week and a virtual workout once per week (workouts are live in the gym once it is safe to be back in the office).

Cons

With several different lines of business, it can be confusing for people outside of the organization to understand our structure and it feels like employees for each line of business are operating in silos.

Pros

They have decent pay, if you're willing to fight for it and good PTO.

Cons

It's a fight to get good pay if you're a long-time employee. It's easier as a new hire to start off with good pay than it is for existing employees to be compensated for their value & worth to the company. Too many layers of management and unsupportive to the lower level employees. Too many required meetings that could have been an email. With many employees working remote we have several touch base meetings each week/month. I believe this is just so we can get together. But many of these meetings really don't need to happen and could easily just be an email or wrapped up in 15-20 minutes, instead of filled with inconsequential items just to fill the hour. This is especially frustrating when meetings are scheduled during the lunchtime portion of the day.
