Pros

They write good reviews to push the bad ones down

Cons

You could honestly write a book about how terrible this place is, and even then you probably wouldn’t touch all the bases. To start off, Micromanaging is insane. They want to know your every move. You send in a morning plan, mid -day plan, and lastly an end of day report even if you’re producing day in and day out, you won’t hear the end of it if you miss a report. They’ll start to question if you really want to work there and it takes everything in you to bite your tongue because all your hard work would be taken away in the blink of an eye. They notice if you leave 5 minutes early but turn the other way when you arrive to the office 15 mins before everyone. What makes it even worse is the manager doing the micromanaging should not even be in that position. Managers are placed based on whether or not they are a “yes man”. Those same managers are incompetent, and are often times underperforming the recruiters under them. Don’t even get me started on upper management they are even worse. With absolutely no merit to be in the position that they are in, they literally believe they are all-mighty and look at the rest as second class citizens - not a joke. Account executives are nothing but another number and are easily disposable. Ridiculous metrics that we are forced to meet all at the expense of the clinicians (nurses, SLP’s, School psychs) we underpay them and then management laughs about it. The recruiters work extremely hard for made up “perks” that can easily be taken away after 14 days of not taking advantage of another clinician, and yes that includes weekends. Next, are the kiss ups . People that suck up to management because they can’t produce. Sooner or later that brown nosing will pay off. Your mediocrity won’t matter and those around you getting deals will get sick of it and leave. Therefore, the contracts fall right into your lap, and all it took were a couple weeks of sucking up. I know this because I constantly put up the calls, the numbers, and most importantly made the company money. However, rules I was given as a new hire were broken as soon as it was convenient for other people that were underperforming. These rules were broken to reward the sycophants. It almost seemed like managers had to go by a “rules for thee but not for me “ motto. Brown nosing will make you likable to upper management and it will pave the way for you to be “successful”. If you keep your head down and work hard and have no interest in bootlicking you will realize you hit your ceiling quick or they will make you miserable enough to leave. There’s no room for growth unless you are a favorite, and you don’t gain favoritism by working hard. Procare does not care about its employees, although we’re expected to make them more money year over year, with the workers seeing no increase in pay. If you are looking for a job to recognize hard work in order to grow, stay away, however if you are fine with mediocrity, insane micromanaging, and extreme favoritism this is the place for you.

Pros

Management is very flexible and understanding when things arise that are uncontrollable. Office culture is great, everyone is very helpful and friendly. Job itself is not too hard. Just need to put the work in.

Cons

The job can sometimes be out of your hands. You can do everything correct, but still fall behind. Some people have advantages that others do not have access too.
