Pros

Hours are great, patients are for the most part pretty amazing, PTO adds up quickly, starting pay competitive.

Cons

The managers and Supervisors are constantly tearing you down. They say they want to build you up, however make you feel the size of a pea during the process. I have never in my life been told how many tasks I am doing wrong without any “real” help being offered to solve the issues. Holidays are not paid time off on the Company’s dime as most facilities and employers offer. You may have holidays off and be paid for them, but that pay is coming out of your own saved and earned Paid Time Off already accrued. If you do not have any PTO saved up, well then it’s just a day off without pay. The treatment of all employees is not equal. One can be treated one way, reprimanded for discrepancies, yet the employee sitting next to them has free rein to do everything the other employee was written up or scolded for. Training is not universal. One manager says one thing, the other something different. One employee has tasks counted while 98% of the other employees haven’t heard of any counted tasks since beginning their employment over 10+ years ago. Why not have a set training program or schedule for all employees that is identical? Older adults are discriminated against at the Company. Instead of showing Respect to the Employee who has given you 25+ years, they are treated badly and unfairly and literally kicked out the door. Very sad. Very unfair. Terrible place to work.
