Pros

Good benefits, relatively competitive pay, great co-workers. Dept Mgr was awesome- very level-headed, intelligent, and approachable.

Cons

Long hours that really interfered with ability to see and spend time with family. I started out full-time for quite awhile, then reduced my status because I couldn't manage the work schedule any longer. The upper management at my location plays blatant "favorites" with other departments at the expense of others, and are completely out of touch with what goes on in day-to-day workings of the clinic. Decisions that directly affect our everyday work are made with very little employee input. Then, turn out to be an inefficient workflow. Employees work 12+ hr shifts with no help with coverage so someone can actually take a real meal break and sit somewhere away from their workstation and patients. Patients allowed to check in 1 minute before closing and be seen for anything.
