Pros
Family like environment. Opportunity to influence policy changes and contribute to promoting a positive and encouraging company culture in a world where this needs to become the norm. I love the way the entire company is encouraged to work together, yet allowed to grow independently at the same time. I’m grateful to have the opportunity to plant roots here!
Cons
Occasionally having a smaller operation yields conflict when job responsibilities change as company grows. This by far is a great problem to have considering the alternative. Another issue related to a smaller operation is sometimes not having a go to person in a particular department can be frustrating. Instead, we have to learn as we go with no one being sure who would be responsible for this going forward. Again, a great problem to have as a growing company!
