Pros
Experience is highly dependent on the department and the department's leader. There are lots of great leaders. Benefits are average. Lots of departments and innovative projects for you.
Cons
Extremely political environment. Salary is not competitive. It is difficult to move up (unless you are a favorite). Once you are hired, when you attempt to transfer up, the compensation team, caps salary increases at 5%. Doesn't make any sense for someone to go from a front line worker to a supervisor and they are only offered a 5% increase. And then on top of that, they hold your annual 2% increase, if you get the 5% increase. The company speaks about SDOH and Diversity, but their actions speak the opposite. Look at the execs at ProMedica; diversity is nonexistent.
