Pros

I survived and am happy I made some trauma buddies along the way.

Cons

So, buckle up because my stint at ProPivotal, also known as PSG (though the name change is just window dressing), was a saga of disappointment and frustration. Their organizational chaos and incompetent management overshadowed any potential benefits I hoped to find. Right from the start, it was painfully clear that this place operates without a functional HR department, resulting in a wild mishandling of employee concerns and a glaring absence of support. Let's dive into the issues: Firstly, the management is a disaster—disorganized and utterly unconcerned about employee well-being. They foster a suffocating environment of micromanagement that kills creativity and productivity. Every little task is scrutinized to an absurd degree, making the workplace feel more like a draconian boot camp than a professional setting. To add insult to injury: You're expected to report every minute detail of your day to higher-ups, all because they can't be bothered to manage their own responsibilities. Taking a lunch break is frowned upon, with colleagues expressing envy over your "luxury" of eating. As for benefits, they might as well be nonexistent. The healthcare options are inadequate and expensive, and don't even get me started on retirement plans or professional development opportunities—they simply don't exist. The pinnacle of frustration? The complete absence of HR. Issues like payroll mistakes, workplace conflicts, and employee grievances are swept under the rug or handled by unqualified individuals. Senior managers think it's acceptable to yell and belittle team members without consequence, stomping around like prehistoric creatures in the wrong era. My time at ProPivotal was defined by mismanagement, pitiful benefits, and a toxic culture of micromanagement. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a workplace that values its employees and operates with professionalism. ProPivotal (PSG) is a nightmare dressed up as a job opportunity. Steer clear if you value your sanity and professional well-being.

Hello, thank you for your comments and feedback. As an organization with Development of People as one of our four core values, we believe that all feedback is a gift. To provide a bit more context, during a recent weekly All Hands Meeting, we discovered that for nearly half of the company (18 of the 41 members of our team) ProPivotal is the longest tenured company worked at. So, while we clearly weren't a good fit for you, we do seem to be quite a good fit for many others. We are saddened that your experience was not positive and we would welcome a conversation with you. If you would like to speak, please let me know. Thank you for all of your contributions and we wish you the best in the future.

Pros

I can honestly say this is one of the best companies when it comes to taking care of their employees. The leadership team truly values work-life balance, provides plenty of growth opportunities, and makes sure everyone feels supported. They foster a positive and respectful culture where hard work is recognized, and open communication is encouraged. It’s refreshing to be part of a workplace that treats employees as their greatest asset, not just numbers. Highly recommend this company for anyone looking for a career with a supportive and people-first environment!

Cons

None that I can think of
