Pros

- WFH - Good Perks - Stock Option

Cons

- No standards maintains. All teams are not good. - Only Staff engineers valued. - Growth path is not defined. - Very siloed, poor, chaotic work culture. - Very outdated work environment. The sad part no efforts to improvise. - Very Poor delivery efficiency due to poor infrastructure so you feel always stuck. Example your simple PR takes more than 1 week to merge. You need take approval from random people they have zero context on your code, There is no dedicated team or no opportunity one who interested to improvise the process. - Some are bossy, they only value only staff engineers. - Avoid joining here if you are worked in supportive and engineering first culture environment.

Pros

-Complete flexibility and autonomy; one of our core values is 'Ownership' and that is something I tangibly feel every day -Unlimited PTO and great benefits -An amazing team; I genuinely love everyone I work with on a daily basis -Great mission and product within a relatively stable/timeless industry (construction)

Cons

-Change is a constant - lots of leadership change over the past several years. I recognize this is not for everyone. However, I have a lot of faith in the new leadership team and the direction of the company.

Pros

Free lunch Tuesday through Thursday.

Cons

There is a huge reality issue between the Executives and the workerbees. Procore cannot scale its operations. New hires see this but leaders - especially ones that have been around since IPO- have zero ability to do anything or to understand the issues. Anyone working the deal operations knows that it’s one new motion away from complete month end chaos. The HR policies are stuck in some other generation. There are no team goals on which you are measured. There is no 360 where you can rate your manager. There is no leadership training or really any job training. There are no education benefits either.
