Pros

Great if you're in engineering, although pay is slowly becoming less and less competitive.

Cons

Employees outside of engineering are woefully underpaid and don't have nearly as much freedom when it comes to utilizing the benefits Procore touts. Procore does absolutely awful work at retaining existing employees, which has led to an incredible amount of brain drain of talented CSMs, SDRs, and even engineers. It's truly disappointing to see colleagues who have been a cornerstone of their team for years get screwed over for compensation, and many of them have left for greener pastures which has left multiple teams understaffed and overworked. I fully expect to leave Procore within the year for these reasons.

Pros

-Complete flexibility and autonomy; one of our core values is 'Ownership' and that is something I tangibly feel every day -Unlimited PTO and great benefits -An amazing team; I genuinely love everyone I work with on a daily basis -Great mission and product within a relatively stable/timeless industry (construction)

Cons

-Change is a constant - lots of leadership change over the past several years. I recognize this is not for everyone. However, I have a lot of faith in the new leadership team and the direction of the company.

Pros

Free lunch Tuesday through Thursday.

Cons

There is a huge reality issue between the Executives and the workerbees. Procore cannot scale its operations. New hires see this but leaders - especially ones that have been around since IPO- have zero ability to do anything or to understand the issues. Anyone working the deal operations knows that it’s one new motion away from complete month end chaos. The HR policies are stuck in some other generation. There are no team goals on which you are measured. There is no 360 where you can rate your manager. There is no leadership training or really any job training. There are no education benefits either.
