Pros
- I'm lucky to get a really good manager, a nice human too talk to, and he maintains transparency, and let's you own things. - RSUs provided is equivalent to big techs - Procore Perks are good - Travel, Internet, Phone allowances - Good medical insurance - Pretty big project and tons of things to try and learn - Hackathons - Great culture and nice people - Developers have stayed here for long which speaks of the benefits they might have been getting.
Cons
- I came from a startup, so it is taking time to get into the habit of following processes which obviously is a requirement where 1700 and so engineers are working in 100s of services. - I am aware of layoffs they have done regularly after IPO, which could have been managed better. They are hiring a lot in India right now, hopefully it doesn't come to that point where mass layoffs are done here. - Need their own Bangalore office, right now we have a rented space managed by TableSpace which is in a very non tech location near Cubbon Park. Although most likely this will be sorted very soon, as they are already looking for a more permanent location.
