-- Good product idea and pitch, good use cases it can cater to, but bad execution -- Poor decision making at product design and development -- Poor prioritization of things, leading to a poor quality product -- Management always in a a haste to add newer and newer features to the product to improve its pitch -- They do this to attract investments/acquisition/customers (but quite a few customer engagements end after initial POCs due to poor product quality) -- Less focus on product quality, robustness and good design. The focus is just the pitch, not the product. -- Lack of well defined standard processes for design, development, deployment and testing. -- Chaotic planning. Workarounds and shortcuts everywhere -- This hampers the learning of employees, work starts seeming less challenging
