[Review For DataRPM] Decent Idea, Sub standard Product, Poor Engineering - Senior Software Engineer Progress Employee Review

Pros

As they have no process or accountability, it is easy to do no work for months and still go under the radar. Most of the team comes in by 11 am and leaves at 5 pm, so the work is very relaxed. If you are a Data Scientist or a UI developer, pay scales are decent. If you are ready to just close your mind and suck up to your higher ups, you will do well here.

Cons

1. Poor product design - The product is very poorly designed and hence full of whack-a-mole bugs. You will spend most of you time fixing bugs, that too in a hacky-patchy way. 2. Poor leadership (team leads) - Most of the team leads either don't code or are really bad at it. Absolutely no mentorship to the technical team. If you are a mid-level guy, forget any sort of career progression. 3. Confused Founders - The three founders were never in sync. They had their own idea of the product. They did, however, manage to sell lies to the progress team and got acquired, it is only a matter of time till that bubble bursts.
