Pros

Great job and benefits. Large gainshare annual payout...

Cons

...but don't dare have a personal issue...not even death. 3 family members caught Covid. No one would come in to care for them due to Covid so I had to help. One died and all Progressive was worried about was your attendance...like, really. Bereavement is 3 days, normally,, which I understood, but this is the Covid era. Bereavement and getting someone buried cant happen in 3 days anymore. Its a month. Even with their PTO and the ability to change your shift (if approved) its not always enough. They counted some of my days against my attendance. Mainly the day my relative was dying and I got off the phones to call an ambulance. Died less than 24 hours later. Tech issues are constant and get blamed on you as a rep. Had several techs look into all said it is their VPN not my system. Calls would drop or you can't hear the customer and they blame you and call it work avoidance. Lawsuit waiting to happen but who has the time these days. Still might...

Pros

Work from home, Ok opportunities to learn more but opportunities are becoming slim.

Cons

Between Micromanagement, work overload and with the use of vendors and AI employees are at risk. Corporate seems to not care that were all tired of the customers that are being abusive when corporates made bad decisions and these poor people have thousands withdrawn from an AI error. Pay for this level of company and the increasing headaches is not good, no monthly bonus, no commissions. No pension. Health benefits are available but not affordable. And the undo stress is causing my peers to consider quiting even ones that been here over 10yrs
