Good company culture that will challenge you with work that makes a difference to the bottom line. Smart and passionate people exist at many levels throughout the company. Compensation package is good relative to others in the field of IT. Gainshare program is a differentiator that is emphasized but not guaranteed yet it pays consistently due to its alignment with company performance. Business vision is understandable and leveraged to gain consensus at all levels strategically.
Cons
Senior management within IT is out of touch and given that they are in the glass house will protect that at all costs. Advancement programs are sold/marketed when feedback is provided that limited advancement opportunities exist. The response to promote an advancement path that give you all the responsibility of an equity level position, with no title and no equity is insulting. This is implemented by those in the glass house because they themselves struggle to effectively identify those that CAN EXECUTE effectively.
