Pros

The only pro to working for PRG was the paycheck.

Cons

Management at PRG lacks experience and leadership skills. Management tries to rule with an iron fist so to speak, but it just comes across as rude and unbelievable. Not inspiring. Management dangles bonuses that aren't always paid out to the employees, even when the work is done, but often without an explanation. Sexual harassment was reported to the upper management of Outside Plant Damage when I worked there, however NOTHING was done about it, the company just promoted the sexual harasser instead, who is currently still in a management role there! PRG is a male dominated company, don't let the one or two females in operations fool you. Also, HR never gathered all of the facts prior to making employment decisions for individual employees. HR doesn't communicate with management or employees other than to gossip. Honest communication in general at PRG is sorely lacking. PRG has a very toxic environment that includes foul language and name calling, bullying, sexual harassment, drug and alcohol use and abuse and in general, is missing professional integrity. I could go on and on.

Pros

Great company culture when it comes to management being hands-off and trusting employees to be adults and mature about decisions on a daily basis. Hybrid work is a great plus because it shows trust and there is no micromanagement.

Cons

Hard to move up and make more money. Leadership doesn't seem to be paying attention to who is ambitious and doing an excellent job daily.
