Good technical experience, and a decent work/life balance is possible.

Cons

Unethical HR and upper management, dishonest shop management, very low pay, and horrible benefits. Expect the same salary and raises as people who don't perform. Zero room for career advancement unless you are a "yes-man." Engineers and tradespeople with a strong sense of ethics should be vey cautious.
