Pros

Can’t think of anything recent

Cons

Extremely manipulative - after working here for around 3-4 years and building a book of business, the company can and will decide to cut commission by over 50% for current books of business. I’m guessing their lack of innovation within an ever changing market started to hit the pockets of the decision makers, and instead of focusing on improving process to increase revenue across the board, completely gutting the producers pay seemed like the right decision. For example - a recruiter running with a book of business totaling out at 10 talent on assignment, you used to be able to expect around $100 per week, per talent and on assignment. The new pay package would average out at about $42 per talent, per week. That’s actually well over a 50% pay cut. If your talent on assignment misses any hours that they are expected to work that week, you will not be paid out for management over that talent as well, so even more opportunities for things to be completely unpredictable and stressful. For those looking to come into the company, if you are shooting to get slightly above the company average of 10 TOA - you can expect to make around $60,000 per year before taxes. This will take many 12 hour days and working on the weekend to achieve, so if you plan on averaging it out based on an hourly pay, you may be better off working pretty much anywhere else.

Hi. We value the input of our employees, especially those who have been with us for close to half our lifetime and appreciate your feedback. While it is never easy to discuss compensation, our leaders have been transparent when making necessary changes and the why behind them which are often dictated by the market. Decisions like these are never easy or are made lightly and always consider market rates, competitor salaries and our company's health to strike the right compensation for our team. Assuming that these decisions were made to "provide passive income" for leaders is unfounded and simply untrue. Our leaders work hard to assist in everyone's success and overall longterm growth and performance of the company. We understand that this tough market can cause a lot of overwhelming feelings and hope you will reach out to your manager or our HR Team to discuss your frustrations and get clarity around compensation.

Pros

I did not have a positive experience with Prolink or Unique Harris(Recruiter)

Cons

I want to share my experience to provide transparency for other nurses considering working with this agency. I was presented with a Michigan assignment and verbally accepted the initial offer, which was quoted as $4,739/48 hours plus a $1,246 stipend. Based on this agreement and reassurance from the recruiter that onboarding expenses would be reimbursed(around $500 for fingerprinting, getting the out-of-state license, state required education & out-of-state background check with me using my car to fulfill fingerprints), I proceeded with credentialing requirements and incurred out-of-pocket costs. Shortly after, the compensation structure was changed multiple times ($4,739 including stipend, then $4,360.50/48 hours, and ultimately $3,439/36 hours), along with changes to the schedule and start date. Despite repeated requests, a written contract reflecting the original terms was never provided. Due to these material changes, I was unable to move forward under the revised conditions. I requested reimbursement for the expenses incurred in good faith based on the original agreement and direction provided. This request was escalated to a supervisor, HR, and company leadership, and was ultimately denied. I am sharing this experience so that other clinicians can make informed decisions and ensure that written contracts are secured before proceeding with credentialing or incurring expenses. While I understand that crisis assignments can change, I encourage transparency and consistency in communication, especially when clinicians are being asked to invest time and money upfront.
