      Pros

      If you’re someone with no skill set other than saying “yes” and being a people person, this place is for you. You can rise to a managerial position without any hindrance—provided you’re lucky enough to end up with the company’s anchor client.

      Cons

      A very biased culture that only rewards those in the main job functions. The organization is top-heavy, with minimal IA experience at the working level. In particular, the Associate Directors in the company have little to no knowledge and limited exposure to effectively conduct properly scoped work.

      Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

      Cons

      Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
