Pros

1) Flexible work arrange provided you get into mid-management's good books. 2) Mid-management close their eyes on you as long as you are working on the one and only anchor client. 3) Strong promoter of management is always right and 'Yes' culture. Come join us if you are able to follow instructions blindly and do not question instructions from middle management.

Cons

1) Top and middle heavy - Too many directors and managers in Singapore office that does nothing. 10% of the entire office is carrying 90% of the jobs. 2) Managers are typical masters of delegation and the walking embodiment of No Actions, Talk Only (NATO). 3) Managers are Directors takes ownership of the projects until it goes south and it will always be the consultants' fault. 4) Promotes a bootlicking culture. Praise the directors and your career will shoot higher than bitcoin.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
