Pros

Pretty reasonable pay for the industry. The people and culture are what makes the company. Everyone is fairly young and very reasonable in terms of providing work load, etc. Unlike the Big 4 and/or other large employers, you can move up as quickly as you'd like if you work hard enough.

Cons

Prepare to travel nearly all of the time. Very little formal training, employees are often expected to perform in their job function with little to no guidance. Nature of most projects can be very dry.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
