A nice place to work in Canberra - good alternative to the big 4, less of a pressure cooker and not as big so you get more visibility and access to better projects and experience when you're more junior. It's still a global firm though so it kind of has a local feel but big firm infrastructure and support. The change in local management has made the culture and environment better recently.

What solution you work in will likely dictate how satisfying your job will be - we're stronger in some areas with deeper expertise than others

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
