Pros

Strong Learning & Development Culture Offers structured training programs and certifications (e.g., CISA, CPA). Great place for freshers and early-career professionals to build consulting skills. Diverse Project Exposure Projects across industries (finance, healthcare, tech, etc.) and domains (risk, IT audit, cybersecurity, etc.). Work-Life Balance (Better than Big 4) Typically better work-life balance compared to Big 4 consulting firms. Offers hybrid and flexible working models in many locations. Inclusive & Supportive Culture Strong emphasis on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives. Collaborative and friendly work environment. Global Presence with Boutique Approach Operates globally but maintains a more personalized and less bureaucratic culture compared to large consulting firms. Leadership Accessibility Leadership is approachable and involved in mentoring.

Cons

Compensation May Lag Behind Big 4 Salaries may be slightly lower than top-tier competitors in consulting.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
