Pros

Good work life balance. Good benefits

Cons

Poor project opportunities. Every year layoffs people. Done in 2023, 2024 and 2025. Reason is poor chargeable assignments. Old timers and leaders never support new hires. New hires are left to find work on their own. And then company layoffs giving reason poor billing.

Pros

Good Culture, decent pay, not overworked too much.

Cons

Repetitive, meaningless, and boring work, hard to pivot out of this career once started. Also, the consulting career feels like such a fake job at times. Doesn't feel like real work. Makes you question your life decisions. I'd recommend any college grads to think about their future career goals first before joining. I joined on a whim and wish I spent more time interviewing. It's been incredibly difficult to pivot out of internal audit and sox compliance once you are in it. However, if you are really good at corporate politics and advocating for yourself you may be able to pivot out of the IAFA solution . However, not sure how that lends it self if you want to leave the company.
