Pros

Good exposure to a wide variety of projects, industries, managers, etc. Pay is fair, traveling can be good at times depending on location.

Cons

Very cliquey atmosphere (managers favor by school you attended), more than advertised travel (sometimes leaving on Sunday afternoons and returning on Friday evenings), lots of extra work for when you return to your hotel, nobody really keeps an eye on you and your career progression you basically have to jump up and down asking to be considered for promotions and hope you went to the right school...

I would have encouraged you to speak to Resource Management and your Career and Executive Advisor about both of these matters. Additionally, our Resource Management team is constantly working to ensure our clients are matched with the right talent at Protiviti. Pros

Compared to other consulting firms, the flexibility in the management here has been amazing. In my experience, teams do whatever they can to get the job done but also acknowledge that we have lives outside of work and are accommodating to that.

Cons

Pay is not competitive compared to other consulting firms and leadership is not as innovative as they could be.
