Pros

For me, it was 10 minutes from my old house. So solely convenience and practicality, nothing more or less. I came from Legacy Health to reduce my 3-hour round-trip work commute, which I did for 3 years. I stayed with Bridgeport Immediate Care Clinic for almost 9 months, an unbearable mistake in my career of 12 years as a bedside nurse.

Cons

1. Bullying, backbiting, and low morale at Bridgeport Immediate Care Clinic. 2. Very unprofessional nurse manager - loud, crude, rude, and uncaring of staff, focused on 'advancing' ahead. Medium fish in a very little pond power syndrome. 3. Unprofessional group of physician assistant providers. I've worked in various states and abroad as an international travel nurse and have yet to meet a more hideous, shameful group of individuals. 4. Politics, politics, politics and more politics. 5. High levels of unnecessary drama, often manufactured by a select few, a long-term medical assistant in particular.

Pros

Supportive coworkers and management, and opportunity for growth.

Cons

It can be difficult to get used to the way they do things, but there is usually support if you ask.
