Pros

Good interviews, they know how to get you in the door.

Cons

Not worth your precious time. They pay salary and expect you to be available all hours!! Not worth the time you put in already on a regular work day. I was expected to attend 2 meetings a day and travel all over putting wear and tire on my vehicle. Pay you for gas but doesn’t come close what you actually need to make it worth while! Don’t be fooled thinking you visit houses because over half the patients live in the Pruitt owned nursing homes. Which means you begin to feel like you work in the nursing home. Please visit and ask for a tour before you decide if this job is for you.

Pros

The DNS is approachable and the charge nurses are supportive.

Cons

More nurses she be open to sharing knowledge during reception. It helps retention of staff when people are on board with showing you the Pruitt way.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
