Pros

Pays well. Otherwise not much pro! Branch level folks are good. They try to keep things running smoothly but have minimal corporate depth.

Cons

Too much cronyism in the corporate and AVP levels in home health. They all go from company to company together. Ruin one and move on to next one. Trying to make PruittHealth Home Health into their last company. That they all left! Can't take accrued PTO with you if you leave unless you're almost 60 and retire. Never enough help to allow you to take PTO. Health insurance is worthless and expensive to boot. EMR is awful! Clinical policies are a joke. Straight out of Lippincott. No one actually knows what corporate policies are as there are 2 or 3 versions.

Pros

The DNS is approachable and the charge nurses are supportive.

Cons

More nurses she be open to sharing knowledge during reception. It helps retention of staff when people are on board with showing you the Pruitt way.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
