There are no pros to this department! Stay away!!!

Cons

I was lied to about the job I interviewed for. Turns out that the employees who are not nurses are "hourly"not salary. Case management lacks management skilled people, there is absolutely no communication in this department. The manager is disrespectful, racist and unqualified for her job. People take 2 hour lunch with out clocking out which the company is paying for them for being out of the office. Smh!!! They do not give any holidays you have to use your own PTO days (i.e. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years)

Pros

The DNS is approachable and the charge nurses are supportive.

Cons

More nurses she be open to sharing knowledge during reception. It helps retention of staff when people are on board with showing you the Pruitt way.

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
