Pros

Ability to serve in the community..and help, educate, and empower people.

Cons

Unprofessional management on the patient placement side of business. LPN is over 50-60 RN transition nurses, with no knowledge of healthcare. Administrator over one of the facilities is known to not take quality care of people in the community and cover it up.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
