Pros

Meet some nice people. Place to learn how you don't want to be treated

Cons

The absolutely biggest moral depleting place I have ever worked! Neil Pruitt doesn't realize why they are Nursing homes it's because of the Nurses, who are valued about as much as quality care in his buildings. Even as the DHS I have never been treated with so little respect. I have had two deficiency free surveys and never once gotten a thank you from my administrator, Area Vice President or Mr Pruitt. I find this extremely offensive considering prior to me coming there they had 10 tags on their last survey and were still under an IJ!!!

Pros

The DNS is approachable and the charge nurses are supportive.

Cons

More nurses she be open to sharing knowledge during reception. It helps retention of staff when people are on board with showing you the Pruitt way.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
