Pros

Love my coworkers and pay is commiserate with job

Cons

Nursing care is absent. If other departments or an educated family member doesn't advocate for a patient demonstrating a change in condition, the patient does not stand a chance for recovery. The faculty/company is too concerned about losing money by re admitting a pt to the hospital. The "Green Sweeps" are a joke. How is an announced inspection of a facility going to help? Pruitt is overly concerned with how things look, but not how they function. On a random day, just go into a bathroom that is rarely cleaned and is shared by 6 people and then you will see how things really are. So called consultants turn a blind eye to all the problems everytime they set foot in the building.

Pros

The DNS is approachable and the charge nurses are supportive.

Cons

More nurses she be open to sharing knowledge during reception. It helps retention of staff when people are on board with showing you the Pruitt way.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
