Pros

I thoroughly enjoyed performing my duties as the maintenance director, working on a variety of items including hospital grade beds, televisions, lighting, minor plumbing and minor electrical, most of all just being able to work independently and work at my own pace.

Cons

The work load was increased on an almost daily basis in ways that was unattainable for any one human being to handle. I asked repeatedly for an assistant but was always told that it wasn't in the budget.

Pros

The DNS is approachable and the charge nurses are supportive.

Cons

More nurses she be open to sharing knowledge during reception. It helps retention of staff when people are on board with showing you the Pruitt way.

Pros

Proximity to home, flexibility provided when needed

Cons

Lack of workload balance when comparing the short term and longterm demands. Archaic unreliable technology, poor supply management, Only paid for one holiday and only if you are working. High turnover from upper mgt down. Redundancies in work processes. Many employees are paid for one position, but performing 2 to 3 other job descriptions. 30 day lead to take a day of PTO while other ppl are on PTO for months, thus causing an already strained situation worse. Lack of investment in the property by ownership. No office space for Unit Managers, one shares a small closet with a commercial ice machine, the other is in the supply closet that was once a shower. Low morale.
