Pros
Good exposure to large-scale operations and the opportunity to work with experienced colleagues. Salary and benefits are reasonable compared to similar companies.
Cons
Very high level of micromanagement, with limited autonomy for employees. Limited career growth and learning opportunities within the operations team. Office politics often affect decision-making and the work environment. During my experience, I felt the operations leadership did not provide adequate guidance or support to the team. In one incident, I believe the investigation was not handled fairly. I was asked to leave without being provided the evidence I requested or a satisfactory root cause analysis (RCA). This left me feeling that the process lacked transparency and due process. I also faced issues regarding my gratuity after nearly 9 years of service, which led me to pursue the matter through the labour authorities.
