Pros

Great benefits After first year full time 2 weeks paid vacation. Sick pay 401k Stock

Cons

Issues don’t get handled they get swept under the rug Overtime is very rare Pay is not the best Because it’s a rotating schedule never a set schedule you feel like you’re always there. Barely time for home life and late hours we are talking 10pm and later. The way raises are determined really makes no sense as the amount you get isn’t determined by your bosses that actually work with you and see your efforts it’s determined by people in an office somewhere. Promises of promotions and further trainings that rarely happen. Super hard to move up which is opposite of what gets sold to you during interviews and orientation. I’ve had two situations of harassment there (one being physical abuse one being verbal harassment) nothing was done in either case even though there were witnesses. When witnesses were mentioned I was told not to speak to them about it even though it was ME going through the harassment. I’ve asked repeatedly for a raise as I make less than my counterparts who’ve been there less time and it’s just not an option. A lot of equipment not working. Been waiting 2 years for a rack for example.

Pros

Good compensation including not just standard pay, but also end of year bonus 80 hours for hourly associates, 8% of your annual earnings granted to you in free company stock thru which quarterly dividends are paid, ok 401k, and gift card and other associate coupons. Good stability and growth. Good company culture.

Cons

Can be slow and resistant to change. Uses some antiquated systems and software that should have been replaced years ago. Does some things that don't make sense. Some managers can be good, while others not very good. Although these cons may be true for a lot of companies. All roads eventually lead to Lakeland where they are headquartered. Geography can be a big one if you are not a Florida native. If you don't want to live in Florida for some legitimate reasons, there can be limited job options in other states, especially if you aren't interested in retail or warehouse jobs. Standard retail negatives about not having a lot of holidays off.
