Pros
Publix has a good reputation for customer service. They have a standard that the employees must live out. I believe that acting out these standards can be very rewarding, especially when you make a customer feel special. Publix makes sure that the employee is satisfied, as well as the customer. They also provide good benefits.
Cons
Like most retail jobs, you must deal with difficult customers sometimes. As an employee, there are high expectations for your role in providing customer service. Some people may find it difficult to reach these expectations. (personally, i believe that this can be rewarding and character building).
