Business Outlook
Pros
State of the art research opportunities and excellent reputation in industry. Near graduation all of my classmates received great offers from companies in the semiconductor industry.
Cons
Low salary, long hours, bad location. Generally the same cons as all graduate schools. The location makes it easy to focus on work but doesn't provide many unique opportunities for recreation. Even the bar scene is muted for a big 10 school.
