Beacon was an incredibly well-run organization with a collaborative, effective culture. Unfortunately, after the QXO acquisition, many of the changes implemented have felt arbitrary and out of step with industry best practices. There’s been a shift toward working harder rather than smarter, with little regard for employee well-being or operational efficiency.
Many of the new structures and decisions seem to disregard what was already working — a classic case of 'fixing what wasn’t broken.' Morale has plummeted, and the environment has become rigid, top-down, and discouraging.
If you're considering joining, think carefully. The current culture does not support innovation or genuine collaboration. Proceed with caution
