Pros

Competitive product once in a time and still rich customer base in high end segment enterprises in EMEA where they had original HQ.

Cons

Fragmented organization through hard restructuring for Thoma Bravo profit supremacy. Harder competition against Tableau and Microsoft PowerBI leads to high turn over of sales after their gold rush season when they enjoyed organic double digit growth. Because of high turn and siloed organization + very poor problem solving management layer who think escalation = messaging only and never get the things done proactively, now you need to move out all blocks and stones by you own on your way, like marketing you need to watch your leads followed by Inside sales and then by field sales. Your hard work never be rewarded by Thomas Bravo salary cap strategy.

Pros

Transparency, work/life balance, everyone here is treated as an adult, autonomy, benefits are great for the USA, people here are very intelligent, kind, honest, and hardworking.

Cons

Corporate bonuses are only paid to director level and above. I wish some sort of bonus was paid to everyone.

Pros

The people you meet at Qlik are one of a kind. Truly amazing, dedicated, supportive people. Whether that be the Demand Center leadership, your peers, or the sales managers. The culture here is phenomenal!

Cons

Too many changes, every year or sometimes even couple of months, you have new managers and a new territory. It’s hard to get a handle of it coming from one industry and training to another. The pay is low compared to other SDR/BDR roles in the industry. No fault to the managers on the BDR team, but the senior leadership tends to care more about activity volume on top of quota. You could hit your quota by 110% and they’ll still ask you to get 100s of calls in a day. The company has also lost the plot on product. Qlik Sense is an amazing analytics tool. If they doubled down on their analytics and made it truly in the cloud and low code/no code, they’d have better results.
