This review is strictly for their benefits compensation, mainly their healthcare. Considering Qlik is such a large organization you would think they have top notch health insurance. It is quite the contrary. High deductibles and out of pockets, that almost make it pointless to have insurance. Qlik should really be ashamed of themselves offering the crap coverage through United Health Care that they do.

Qlik offers a broad array of health and wellness coverage options, including two High Deductible plans with an employer contribution to a health savings account as well as traditional PPO health coverage options with access to flexible spending accounts. Each plan has a different deductible and out-of-pocket cost structure that depends on who is covered and the health care utilization preferences of each employee. Overall, our employee health care rates are competitive. Further, no cost increases were passed to employees for 2021 medical, dental, or vision insurance coverage. This year we’ve also increased our mental health offerings with Modern Health and apps including Headspace – all at no cost to employees.

Pros

Transparency, work/life balance, everyone here is treated as an adult, autonomy, benefits are great for the USA, people here are very intelligent, kind, honest, and hardworking.

Cons

Corporate bonuses are only paid to director level and above. I wish some sort of bonus was paid to everyone.

Pros

The people you meet at Qlik are one of a kind. Truly amazing, dedicated, supportive people. Whether that be the Demand Center leadership, your peers, or the sales managers. The culture here is phenomenal!

Cons

Too many changes, every year or sometimes even couple of months, you have new managers and a new territory. It’s hard to get a handle of it coming from one industry and training to another. The pay is low compared to other SDR/BDR roles in the industry. No fault to the managers on the BDR team, but the senior leadership tends to care more about activity volume on top of quota. You could hit your quota by 110% and they’ll still ask you to get 100s of calls in a day. The company has also lost the plot on product. Qlik Sense is an amazing analytics tool. If they doubled down on their analytics and made it truly in the cloud and low code/no code, they’d have better results.
