Pros

Consistent overtime opportunities and many positions available

Cons

The schedule is really hard on family and social lives. The union and Quad like to point fingers at each other instead of resolving any employee related issues. Does not embrace a safety culture. I complained about one of my tasks for three years that was an ergonomic nightmare, offered help in implementing a solution and nothing was ever done about it. My partner dislocated a vertebrae in his upper back because of this problem,, which caused chronic pain and numbness in his arm. What did he get? Some assistance from workers comp and eventually they booted him off of it because the company didn't want to pay anymore. The veterans like to guard information to protect their jobs unless you become their pet, so good luck trying to move up or develop new skills.

Pros

Paid weekly and you get 3 weeks vacation in your 2nd year. I had 3 fantastic managers who made the experience a win for me.

Cons

Their severance policy is the worst. After 12 years, I was given 1 week per year, okay. However, they pay it to you weekly, and they only pay the difference btw your previous salary and what you receive from Unemployment Insurance. Also, The WEEKLY contributions for health insurance are exorbitant (with the contribution amount being based on Biometrics, so don’t be fat or have high blood sugar or cholesterol, and definitely NO NICOTINE of any kind, or u automatically pay the Highest amount) and you still pay huge co-pays and deductibles on everything.
