Pros
-work-life balance is incredible -async work environment that everyone respects -stiped for learning budget is a nice perk -not a ton of meetings, also great -401k matching -decent health insurance/benefits -good coworkers, lovely humans
Cons
- c suite are a bunch of bullies that do no work and all talk -headcount continues to decrease between 3 rounds of layoffs, jobs being cut at random, others being asked to leave or put on a pip -those people who were laid off are asked not to do Glassdoor reviews so the company looks better -no actual goals for the company besides making money - less people, more work put on others' plates - no raises - rare to get a promotion -no growth opportunities -salaries are based on where you live, and they do not negotiate even though it is not market rate in the area -wouldn't be surprised if the company folds or sells to the highest bidder in under a year -don't take the job here since you'll most likely get let go in another round of layoffs when they don't hit the numbers they want - but don't worry, the leadership team will still do their quarterly offsite and waste more money
